I'm a backend developer and project manager based in Cambodia, studying Software Engineering at Kirirom Institute of Technology on a full scholarship. I started in 2024 with a full-stack bootcamp, mostly because I wanted to know what happened after a form got submitted. The frontend never held my attention the way the database did, and I've been working on backends since.

Most of that work has been at Coorad, which I co-founded. I lead product direction and backend architecture for Angkoro, a Telegram Mini App that replaces chat-based order taking with an actual storefront for small Cambodian sellers. I wrote the first backend and web frontend myself. Later I handed the codebase to five junior developers and spent a lot of time reviewing their pull requests and explaining why things were structured the way they were. Before any of it got built, we interviewed sellers, ran a survey with 80 responses, and went through seven competing platforms to work out what was actually missing.

At the same time I've been at Wald DX, where I joined as a developer intern and ended up managing the project. I track progress and clear blockers for a team of five or more engineers building custom tools for enterprise clients, and I still take development tickets myself. Most of my week goes to talking with clients about what they need and turning that into work the team can pick up.

Outside of that, I was Class President at KIT for a year, which mostly meant being the person students and teachers complained to until something got fixed. I've led project teams for coursework and client work since 2024. In mid-2026 I spent a few months volunteering as a teaching assistant at Nagashima and Hiraizumi Elementary Schools in Japan, looking after about 20 students and joining their daily activities.
